Welcome to Silent Night. Silent Night attempts to bridge the gap between Nordic-style play, and brutal boffer combat. Silent Night is not for the faint of heart. Throughout the experience, participants will be faced with moral challenges and real physical and emotional struggles.
Silent Night is designed for an “R” audience. Violence, torture, and death are common in the apocalyptic setting portrayed, including animal death. Sickness and hunger are prevalent and it won’t be possible to help everyone. Profanity is occasionally uttered, and often used to add emphasis.
Participants must be 18 years or older to participate in Silent Night. The event staff may make exceptions in specific circumstances, but exceptions will be very uncommon.
An Important Note: There is a LARP out there for everyone. There isn’t “a” LARP that is for everyone. With that in mind, Silent Night is not for everyone. It is meant to confront players with hard choices, complex issues, ethics and morality. It is important to remember your character is experiencing hardship and strife, not you. If this type of play is not for you, that’s okay! We would love to have you on staff! Your input and efforts won’t go to waste!
